Italy National Team 4 Down Offense

With this post I begin the Italy's Playbook for the next Eurobasket 2013. Now we're seeing a 4-Down Offense that azzurris use to play a top ballscreen with different final options.

First option is when the 5 is the top ball-
screener. 1 dribbles to the left wing and 4
sets a downscreen for 2 who slides up to
the top of the key. 1 hits 2. 5 slides up to
the top and 3 slides up to the wing.
Then 5 sets a ballscreen for 2 and rolls to
the left low post. 4 can cut to the right low
post or to the right corner.
1 can hits 5 at the low post or to 4 at the
low post or at the corner.
Second options is when 4 is the top ball-
screener. 1 dribbles to the left wing, 5 sets
a downscreen for 2 who moves to the top
of the key and, 1 hits 2. 4 slides up to the
top of the key.
Then 4 sets a ballscreen for 2 and pops to
the left wing. 5 cuts to the right low post.
1 has 4 different options of pass as we can
see in the picture.

If 2 hits 4 at the left wing, then 1 slides up
towards 4 for a hand-off pass.
4 moves to the left low post. 1 dribbles to
the rim and can pass to 4 at the baseline
or to 5 at the low post depending on the
deffense.
